My biggest goal is to lose weight. I want to do this for a number of reasons.
- Mainly to regain my self-confidence that being overweight has robbed me of. Time to feel good about myself.
- Improve my very poor levels of fitness... Which in turn leads to
- Health- my weight has made me suffer from abscesses, a hormone imbalance and a pseudo-tumour. All of these will be improved by weight loss.
- Marriage- I am currently engaged, but won't commit to a marriage ceremony until I feel better about myself.
- Fertility - I want children very soon and this will not happen at my current weight.
- Clothes- I want to be able to fit into and look good in fashionable clothes. I do not want to be forever in stretchy materials!!!!
- Holiday- I want to feel confident about fitting in a plane seat without bulging over the sides! I want to look reasonably ok in swimwear. I don't want to obsess about what people may be thinking about me!
It actually feels good just to share these.
I am restarting Exante diet tomorrow. I have done 2 weeks before in which I lost over a stone. Time to kick ass for real!!!!!
I ultimately need to lose 8 stone to get me into the normal BMI bracket. Wish me luck!!!!
